Spice up your culinary skills at our Mexican-themed “Come and Cook” class! Join us for a fiesta of flavors, where you’ll learn to create delicious Mexican dishes from scratch.
Event Highlights:
1. Salsa and Guacamole Mastery: Dive into the art of crafting the perfect salsa and guacamole. Learn the secrets to balancing flavors and creating dips that will transport your taste buds to the streets of Mexico.
2. Tacos and Toppings Galore: Experience the joy of assembling your own tacos with an array of authentic toppings. From savory meats to fresh veggies and flavorful sauces, discover the magic of building the ultimate taco.
3. Margarita Mixology: Become a master mixologist as you learn to whip up the perfect margarita. Whether you prefer classic lime or adventurous fruit flavors, we’ll explore the art of creating this iconic Mexican cocktail.
4. Dessert Delights: Indulge your sweet tooth with a lesson in crafting delectable Mexican desserts. From churros to tres leches cake, discover the sweet side of Mexican cuisine.
Note to Participants: No prior cooking experience needed – just a love for good food and a willingness to explore the vibrant world of Mexican cuisine. Let’s cook up some fiesta fun!

Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
Please refer to the Cancellation Policy prior to booking a ticket.
Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
