Get ready for an exciting league competition as we present the Johnny H League Bowling Championship! This thrilling bowling event combines individual skill, strategic play, and the pursuit of the coveted Johnny H Regional Championship Award. Here’s everything you need to know to roll your way to league victory:
Event Details:
- Individual Bowling Competition: Lace up your bowling shoes for a chance to showcase your skills and compete in this thrilling league setting.
- Johnny H Adjusted Score: Fine-tune your personal benchmark by playing a minimum of 2 rounds (4 games) before the first game of the league, ensuring a competitive edge.
- Adjustment Setting Period: Seize the opportunity in three rounds during February and March to obtain your JH Adjusted Score, setting the stage for league success.
- League Competition: Compete in the final league competition where the league champion is determined by the player with the highest combined scores from their top 6 JH adjusted rounds. The more league rounds you participate in, the better your chances of climbing the league leaderboard.
- Eligibility: To qualify, complete a minimum of 6 league rounds (12 games), excluding the games to get your JH adjustment.
- League Period: The league kicks off in April and concludes in September with at least 10 rounds available. Every league round is a chance to enhance your score and climb the league leaderboard.
- Joining Late: Join the league midway through the year? Your first 2 league rounds (4 games) will establish your JH adjusted score, and subsequent league rounds will contribute to your overall league score.
- National Bowling Championship: Be part of the league’s pinnacle! The top league players from each region will be invited to the first-ever JH National Bowling Championship in December, determining not only the national league champion but also the regional league champions.
Terminology:
- Johnny H Adjusted Score: Your individual benchmark, calculated from two rounds of bowling in the league setting.
- League Round: Each scheduled occurrence of league bowling on the calendar, comprising 2 games.

Price includes lunch at Johnnys Place and two games of bowling whilst other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
