What to Bring:
- Appropriate Clothing: Dress comfortably in lightweight, breathable clothing suitable for outdoor activities. Opt for long sleeves and pants to protect against the sun’s rays, and consider wearing a wide-brimmed hat or cap to shield your face and neck from sun exposure.
- Sun Protection: Don’t forget to pack sunscreen with a high SPF rating to shield your skin from harmful UV rays. Apply sunscreen liberally to all exposed areas of skin, including your face, arms, and neck, and reapply throughout the day as needed to maintain optimal protection.
What to Expect:
- Fishing Gear Provided: Don’t worry about bringing your own fishing gear – we’ve got you covered! Jesse will supply all the necessary fishing equipment, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle, ensuring that you’re fully equipped for a successful day of fishing on the Broadwater.
- Catch and Release: As responsible anglers and stewards of the environment, we practice catch and release fishing to preserve the natural balance of marine ecosystems. After snapping a quick photo to commemorate your catch, we’ll gently release it back into the water, allowing future generations of fish to thrive.
- Complimentary Refreshments: Stay refreshed and energized throughout the day with complimentary snacks and beverages provided.

Price includes lunch with snacks through the day, other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
