World of Work
The objective of this unit is to provide opportunities for clients to develop knowledge and a variety of skills to ensure they continue to build on their skills and understanding of workplace environments. This course will help clients refine their employability skills, explore career pathways, and gain confidence in navigating the world of work.

Workplace Expectations: Understand workplace norms, including punctuality, communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
Career Exploration: Investigate different career pathways and industries to identify potential employment opportunities that match your interests and strengths.
Building Confidence in the Workplace: Develop strategies to build self-confidence, resilience, and adaptability in professional settings.
Workplace Communication: Enhance communication skills for different workplace situations, including written, verbal, and non-verbal interactions.

Workplace Safety and Rights: Gain awareness of workplace safety practices, employee rights, and employer expectations.

All clients attending Work Readiness are required to bring prepared food for breaks, including lunch, unless otherwise noted when booking.

* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
Pricing & Inclusions
The NDIS price covers the duration of the term and will be arranged through a Program of Supports.
Participants can bring their own lunch or enjoy a meal prepared in-house for a small fee.
