Sweeties Confectionery is a family-owned and operated business that has been supplying thousands of retail customers for more than 35 years. With over 1,000 products available at wholesale pricing, Sweeties is a major distributor of chocolates, lollies, chips, and drinks. They work directly with some of the world’s biggest names, including Cadbury, Mars, Nestlé, Smiths, and Wrigley’s, ensuring a steady flow of quality products to retailers across the region.
A visit to the Cranebrook site will give participants a first-hand look at the scale and logistics of confectionery distribution. They’ll see how stock is managed, orders are prepared, and customer service plays a role in a wholesale environment. Team members will also share insights into workplace safety procedures, employee training, and the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced retail and distribution business.
This visit will help participants build a clear understanding of the variety of roles within a wholesale business, from warehouse operations to sales and customer support, while also providing practical knowledge on how to apply for vacancies in the industry.

Essential Information
Participants are required to bring their own lunch, snacks and water bottle.
Wear smart casual clothing and enclosed shoes (no active wear or track pants).
Transport will be provided from Johnny’s Place to and from the business.
The NDIS price covers the cost for that day and will be arranged through a Program of Supports.
The NDIS price covers support only. Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
For those who bring their own meals, please be aware that we are a nut-free centre – for the health and safety of all participants, please avoid bringing foods that contain nuts.
