Wednesday – Bob Jane T-Marts Penrith
Bob Jane T-Marts is Australia’s largest independent tyre retailer, specialising in tyres, wheels, batteries, and related automotive services. With a strong reputation built over decades, Bob Jane T-Marts provides trusted service to everyday drivers, fleet operators, and performance enthusiasts. A visit to the Penrith store will give participants a behind-the-scenes look at how a busy automotive retail and service business operates.
During the visit, participants will meet staff across customer service, workshop, and management roles to gain an understanding of the different career pathways available. They’ll observe stock control processes, see how safety standards are applied in a workshop environment, and hear about the training opportunities designed to support employee development.
This experience will also highlight the employability skills needed to succeed in the automotive industry – from problem solving and teamwork to communication and technical knowledge – while providing practical tips on how to apply for vacancies within Bob Jane T-Marts and the wider sector.

Essential Information
Participants are required to bring their own lunch, snacks and water bottle.
Wear smart casual clothing and enclosed shoes (no active wear or track pants).
Transport will be provided from Johnny’s Place to and from the business.
The NDIS price covers the cost for that day and will be arranged through a Program of Supports.

For those who bring their own meals, please be aware that we are a nut-free centre – for the health and safety of all participants, please avoid bringing foods that contain nuts.
