The Lowdown
Join us for a delicious culinary adventure at our Come & Cook: France experience! Discover the flavours of French cuisine as we work together to create a selection of simple and tasty French-inspired dishes. Guided by our team, participants will learn new cooking skills, build confidence in the kitchen, and enjoy a fun and social cooking experience.
Throughout the day, you’ll prepare a range of French favourites including buttery croissants, savoury ham and cheese croissants, French onion soup, quiche Lorraine, and chocolate crêpes. Best of all, participants will be able to take home the dishes they create to enjoy later.

- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
